HWD – The Human Touch
Heads We Dance was one of my absolute favorite finds over the last year. I originally reviewed their track ‘Love in the Digital Age’ back in June of last year (A new version of which can be heard at the band’s website). Since then, they’ve offered up single after delicious single, as well as numerous mixtapes to keep us dancing all night long.
They’ve now released yet another single, titled ‘The Human Touch’. As with most of their previous releases, they’ve offered the single up as a free digital download. And it’s not just the single they’re giving away – it’s the B-side ‘You Are Never Alone With Model 21′, remixes by Sidechains, Charlie Fanclub (Work It Baby), Louis La Roche and neON!, as well as their own very special sci-fi mixtape! The group will be playing live at The Cockpit in Leeds this Friday (28th November), where they’ll be playing with Little Boots and Heartbreak! Doors are at 7.30pm.
On a more personal note: I really want to congratulate the band on their meteoric rise over the last year – if anyone deserves it, they do! With the music biz being in the state it’s in, and a thousand band’s sending out copy-and-paste emails, it was always nice to get a personal message from HWD. They are a class act, and I can’t wait for an album!
