Happy Birthday Susanna

I just realized today that I forgot an important event last week. Susanna Hoffs birthday! It was January 17th, for those keeping track. It’s actually funny to acknowledge her birthday, because it appears she lives in a magical dimension where no one ever ages. Seriously, she’s 50 and looks amazing. The above picture is only 2 years old! Maybe she’s had a nip or tuck somewhere along the line, but it’s some pretty fine work if she has. Rawr!

Inappropriate oogling aside, I’m a big fan of The Bangles. In fact, I remembered her birthday thanks to a reference to ‘Hazy Shade of Winter’ by Keath in a recent email exchange. We both agreed that no matter how unpopular it might make us down at The Bloggers Club, we liked their version better than the original by Simon & Garfunkel. Although I’m pretty sure I speak for both of us in saying both are a lot better than the She Wants Revenge version (yikes).

At any rate, I’ll take this as an opening to post a Bangles track.
