You can hear Bloc Party on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic *right now*. You can also watch them in the studio. If you miss the live show it will undoubtedly be available in the archives in no time.
I’ll admit the boys let me down with A Weekend in the City, and I wasn’t inspired by Intimacy, but I still have hope they’ll produce something as strong as Silent Alarm in the future. They put on an incredible live show, that’s for sure.

I quite liked Intimacy actually – I still listen to it regularly.
Well, that’s why I say I wasn’t ‘inspired’ by it. It’s okay, but it isn’t as good as the first album.
I just can’t seem to get into them. The only song of theirs that I really, really like is “Vision of Heaven”, and that was a b-side I think.
The first album is near-perfect, Ceci. I haven’t been pleased with much anything else since. Though you’re right about ‘Vision of Heaven’. They’ve had some good b-sides in the meantime.
