You’re glib Matt, you’re glib
Lily Allen showed up at the Today Show on Tuesday to engage in some slightly uncomfortable back-and-forth with Matt Lauer (at least it wasn’t Kathy Lee). After that, she broke into a live performance of ‘The Fear’. It’s possible Matt spooked her because she seemed a little shy/nervous. Then again, it is the Today Show and – presumably – millions are watching. That or she was afraid she’d sing the original version and the FCC would chase her.
It’s the first of several stops promoting her new record, It’s Not Me, It’s You which flew into record shops (they still have those, right?) on Tuesday. Next week she’ll be visiting The Tonight Show (Feb 16th) and The Ellen Degeneres Show (Feb 18th). Then she’s off until April, when she returns for several North American dates (sadly, no Arizona though).
