Coachella Update
Just a quick reminder for those planning on using Coachella’s new Layaway option when purchasing 3-day passes: The last day to place your layaway order is tomorrow, Saturday 28th.
For those of you unfamiliar with this purchase option, there are two ways to go about it. 1)is to pay 10% down & pay the remainder in 2 future installments and 2)is to pay 50% now & the remainder by April 1st. At this point, option 2 is probably the most reasonable, since your second payment on option 1 would be due by March 1st (Sunday) anyway. Tickets are available here.
I’m still getting my hotel/condo arrangements sorted, but I’m definitely going this year. There are always last minute additions to Coachella, and they usually shake up the lineup pretty well. Otherwise, I’ll totally admit I’m going to geek out to seeing Paul McCartney sing Beatles songs on Friday. And I’m sure I’m not alone in wondering if Amy Winehouse will actually show up on Saturday (though I’m otherwise pretty unimpressed with Saturday save a few like Hercules and Love Affair, Band of Horses, Gang Gang Dance & Jenny Lewis). What will it be like to see The Cure & My Bloody Valentine on the same bill?? I can’t wait!
