More YYY’s goodies
I wrote about the new Yeah Yeah Yeahs single, ‘Zero’, a couple of weeks back. Since then, there’s been quite a bit of activity in the YYY camp.
YYYs have been brimming with nervous excitement in anticipation of releasing this record to the world! Leaks are NO FUN but it’s out of our hands. Can’t help but ask ourselves, “What would the PHILOSOPHER do in times such as these?” We now present PART II of the SNAKESWEAT TRILOGY, Mr. Brian Chase soothing our troubled souls in THE PHILOSOPHER. I have to admit, part of me is sad that a pre-release leak has forced the band to change their original schedule, but another part is ready to pat them on the back for their willingness to adapt to the situation. I know it’s a brave new world and all, but I suppose I have an outdated attachment to ‘the way we were’.
At any rate, here’s the new release schedule for band’s 3rd outing, It’s Blitz!:

We also have 2 really bizarre films from the band, the first called ‘The Scientists’ feat Nick Zinner, and another called ‘The Philosopher’ feat drummer Brian Chase. Don’t ask me to explain them…just watch them.
