This video was emailed to me by a reader named Natalie, who thought it might be up my alley. Nice catch Natalie! I do, indeed, like this video. And to think, she sent this to me before my Cats vs Dogs post! :) Of course, the song isn’t literally about a kitty, but the video definitely is. Poor kitty is stuck in a tree! [SPOILERS] They totally help kitty down. [/SPOILERS]
More importantly, I really like this band. I’d never heard of The Ropes before seeing this video. Or maybe I had, and my brain has just turned to soup from being exposed to so many different bands on a regular basis. But no, I think I’d remember this kind of dreamy, lo-fi electropop. I’ll certainly be seeking out more music from them!
