Tweeting Too Hard

We all know Tweeting is a pretty ridiculous indulgence. I have a hard enough time trying to convince myself anyone cares what I have to say about music on this blog, let alone that they’d care if I’m at the park, on the toilet or that I just drove past a guy wearing OMG THE FUNNIEST HAT EVR. Yet I do it anyway, so surely I deserve being taken down a peg or two.

So it was about time someone took the piss out of Twitter and all its users (including myself). Tweeting Too Hard does exactly that, by ranking the most pretentious, self-important and absurd Tweets out there. Check out a few of the All Time Top Tweets:

Some of these could be intended as parody in the first place, but you never know. You can peruse the selections & vote on what you think are the most self-important Tweets here. Of course, my stupid rant the other day about Craigslist users would probably earn me a spot on there. Or is it self-important to assume my self-important rant would earn me a spot there? Oh, it’s all so confusing.
