Even more Burns

Even though it seems like I’m turning BIYL into an Official Burns Fansite, I promise I’m not (not that it would be such a bad thing, as far as I can tell). Can I help it if the guy just keeps churning out quality remix after quality remix? After successful swipes at Filthy Dukes, his Boss Linus Loves, Passion Pit and Empire of the Sun, he’s decided to turn his sights on The Gossip.

I’d be lying if I said I was crazy about the new Gossip material I’ve been hearing. It sounds okay, but has failed to grab me in the same way as say, ‘Standing in the Way of Control’. I did hear the quality Fred Falke remix that’s been floating about elsewhere, which gave me pause to reconsider my position on the whole thing. This new mix by Burns is helping nudge me in a more forgiving direction as well.

Speaking of Burns, he also has an EP of original material coming out. The first single is called ‘Turbo’, and it has a nifty video to accompany it courtesy of Thomas Bachellier.
