Patrick Wolf – Hard Times
What the devil did I just watch? Looks like Patrick Wolf’s self-imposed exile from music was a short-lived affair. Thank goodness, because I’d have been deprived of this wonky music video as well as the song itself. Great stuff.
In other news, the guys over at Buffetlibre have remixed another new track by Patrick, called ‘Who Will’. You might remember them from their infamous ‘Rewind’ series where various newcomers take on tracks from the 70s & 80s. The remix is pretty solid, not a typical 4-to-the-floor head smasher, but very well done (besides, nothing but ‘bangers’ can really tiresome). Patrick fans and non-fans alike would do well to try it on. Marc from Buffetlibre tells me dub & radio edits are soon to follow, so keep your eyes open.
