Burns – Teknique

We finally have the mp3 of Burns latest offering, ‘Teknique’, off his 3rd EP release this year. And we’ve got a video to go along with it! The video itself is something of a remix of cult classic ‘The Warriors’. I really have to hand it to whoever edited this thing, because it’s pretty fantastic. And I say that as someone who has grown pretty weary over all the retroactive praise heaped on said film. As for the track, Burns once again manages to avoid the typical dance music cliches and presents us with a primal, sexy dance track that’s nearly impossible to resist. Just try listening to this once – it can’t be done.

Burns has also offered up a pretty wicked remix of Kasabian’s ‘Where Did All The Love Go’. I continue to be impressed by his remix prowess, and have to scratch my head at how he manages the level of output he has without compromising quality. There are a lot of electronic producers out there right now, and many seem to put out a new track every week. Most of those are a roll of the dice, but Burns has turned into a sure bet.
