Stars of Track and Field

I seem to remember hearing about Stars of Track and Field several years ago, but losing track of them. How could I, when they’re named after one of my favorite Belle & Sebastian songs?? Of course, they don’t take after their namesake, stylistically. Listening to their new track, ‘Racing Lights’, I’m reminded of the uplifting, anthemic side of Keane. That probably sounds like an insult, but allow me to whisper a little secret in your ear – I not only like Keane, but I’ve seen them live. They were outstanding. No really, they were.

Oh cool, I lost track of Track and Field too, and I liked their first album. We saw them open for Joseph Arthur in 2007. This is pretty nice. And I like Keane too. It will be our little secret, Sean.
