The Temper Trap
One of the pleasures of being able to write is to share what’s rocking your musical taste buds. The Temper Trap have been rocking my world all summer. I’m pretty sure that they will be rocking yours pretty soon, too. Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, they have been trawling the Summer Festival circuit. They have shades of Arcade Fire, King’s Of Leon, Coldplay and even a touch of U2. Heady praise I know but damn they are good.
The debut album “Conditions” is out right now in the UK on Infectious Records. The album drops in the USA on October 13th on Glassnote. There is really not a bad track on the album. The band are about to embark on a headlining tour of the UK before heading out to the States. Tickets seem to be at a premium for the UK tour. I remember telling people last year to grab the chance to see White Lies in an intimate venue. My advice is much the same for these guy’s as they are going to be massive. I cant wait to meet them for an interview next Friday before reviewing the opening show of the UK tour. This is one catchy album that I cant leave alone right now its a great pop record, but with a credible depth!!!!!
