Phenomenal Handclap Band tours with SMD

How many people are actually in Phenomenal Handclap Band? I heard there were 8 band members, which seems to be backed up in this new video for ’15 to 20′. But I’ve also read that they have upwards of 20 members. That’s a lot. That’s Polyphonic Spree a lot. Actually, now that I think about it, maybe the song title is a hint.

The band will be playing some east coast US tour dates in October and November, after a brief jaunt through the UK. They’ll be joined on their last 4 dates by Simian Mobile Disco, which sounds like a really interesting pairing, to say the least.
