Mary Onettes US tour

I have to admit, this announcement had me really, really excited until I actually looked at the tour dates and realized that ‘US Tour!’ meant ‘4 dates on the east coast’. Okay, okay, I’m coming across pretty damn bitter, but I can’t help it! It seems 95% of the bands I love won’t touch Arizona with a ten foot pole, and I can’t exactly drive 600 miles to LA every time I want to see someone (and def not several thousand). But yeah, waah waah waah, I’m moaning and I full well know it! I can’t expect The Mary Onettes to conform to my every want, even if I secretly want them to.

If you do happen to be anywhere near the Brooklyn, Boston or Philadelphia area, you’d better hightail it to whatever venue they might be playing, otherwise I’ll know you just don’t appreciate how lucky you are, and I’ll feel very disappointed. I don’t often do reviews because I really hate them, so you’d best believe I was pretty crazy about this new record.
