Another New Writer!
You might be wondering why there’s another new face around here. Well, let me explain – it went down like this: Sean and I used to write together at RockSellout (with Mark too!). After that ran its course we started an intense interblog war, complete with rampant espionage, moles, and legal action (I was this side of it). Unfortunately for our respective legal teams we forgot why we were fighting so we decided to cooperate instead (they billed us anyway). I did a few guest posts, even drew that stunningly attractive girl you no longer see anywhere on the site (not that I notice such things, mind you). But I was not yet a full time BIYL writer. Then, earlier this week, the following conversation took place:
Sean: I’d really like to take a break from writing and just be an editor for a while.
Keath: I can write for you again!
Sean: That’d be nice!
Keath: This will be an excellent opportunity to publish my exhaustive look into Warrant’s overlooked masterpiece, Dog Eat Dog.
Sean: Um, no.
Keath: I see. How about a week long analysis of the Hopalong Cassidy movie series?
Sean: Try again.
Keath: Lady GaGa: Friend or Foe?
Sean: We’ll alienate our Swedish readership.
Keath: BIYL Investigative Reports: Is Dilana the new Lita Ford?
Sean: Wtf?
Keath: How the most offensive thing about the new Joss Stone video is likely the music itself?
Sean: Self-evident.
Keath: Can I at least mention how NME has named a Cars b-side compilation the best of the decade?
Sean: Hey, I like that album!
Keath: You’re a terrific editor.
Sean: Thank you!
Keath: I meant that sarcastically.
Sean: But my rejecting your story ideas makes it true.
Keath: Jerk.
Sean: Hack.
All great partnerships start this way, right? Also, shouldn’t I have some sort of login? Because hacking my way into the site each time I want to post takes a lot of time, especially when Sean keeps updating the security settings.

Still got the birthday podcast you did for me in a zip file just a shame the new management at RS destroyed a lot of my work before i had a chance to salvage it. That jarred me as it was my work but hey ho season of goodwill to all sites Ha Ha !!!!!
