Well, we’re 3 months in to our Best of 2009 Reader’s Poll, and I think it’s pretty obvious who you folks think had the record of the year: The xx. Phoenix was very close, but still a few votes shy of the London trio’s top spot. I was originally going to close the voting on the 15th of November, but I thought there might be a last minute shakeup. Nope. The boys & girls of The xx held on like real champs. The final results:
