Forgetting To Dance

It’s rainy gray in Tampa, so this haunting track by Fredrik is a perfect soundtrack. The blend of acoustic guitar, electronic bloops, and softly stated vocals create an intoxicating blend. Honestly, it makes the weather worth it.

[Off Trilogi, out January 2010.]

Moving from haunting to hypnotic now with The Do. My favorite part of this track is either the tugging urgency of the song or the line “Why would you try to make me friends with them soldiers/when you know I’ve never been familiar with orders.” Equally worthy options.

MP3: The Do – On My Shoulders
[Off A Mouthful. out now. Stream It. Buy It.]

Let’s close this post out with a track from Tristen. There’s an uplifting feel to the music, but that chorus is a fine display in using words to slice someone apart. Funny how those things work together sometimes.

MP3: Tristen – Eager For Your Love
[Off Tour EP.]
