Let me set the scene: a sell out crowd in a converted church eagerly anticipating the entrance of tonight’s headliners. Then at 22.15, The Joy Formidable take to the stage and storm through a non-stop action-packed set. It was just the best form I have seen the band! Top of the bill suits them. Tonight there was no playing second fiddle – the amps were cranked up to the max and the crowd jumped, sang ,clapped and demanded. They stretched every sinew. Boy did they deliver! Just check the videos below!! Many thanks to Shane Allen who again gave up his time to provide the fantastic photos.
