Editors – New Single and Tour News
I struggled for a couple of months with the new Editors album, I’m like that sometimes. The last couple of weeks I have revisited it and realised that it is most probably the best body of work from the band thus far.
The new single “You Don’t Know Love” Is totally my favourite track on the album described by the Guardian as “unsettling ode to decaying affection” and “Bleakly Haunting”. For me, it’s further testimony to the band’s innovative reinvention of their sound. The album has taken mainland Europe by storm as well as the UK, securing top ten placings in many countries.
Having seen the new stage show on the first leg of the UK tour, I can say the light show is breathtaking. They are fast establishing themselves as a must see act and venues are selling out fast for the March shows in the UK. The single features several remixes by the likes of Rob De Bank, Tom Middleton, Boyz Noise, and my favourite by Caged Baby, which you can grab below.
