I’ll admit right up front that I have absolutely adored Marion Cotillard since I first saw her in Love Me If You Dare, so she probably gets a free pass from me in most everything she does due to my mushy feelings for her. Still, I’m pretty sure that if I put those feelings aside I would still totally love this song. It starts off slow, with Cotillard’s breathy, flirty vocals hanging in the air above a simple melody. Oh, but then comes the wind up to the chorus and it’s suddenly like something out of Shocking Blue’s playbook. ‘The eyes of…The eyes of MARS! THE EYES OF MAAAAARS!’.
