Everyone Loves Lissie And So Should You
Everyone loves Lissie. Mark has been talking about her since the start of the year and I’ve been eating up her eclectic covers of everyone from Lady Gaga to Metallica. The rest of the blogosphere is no exception, as they just can’t seem to get enough of her, either. Now it appears that iconic filmmaker David Lynch has taken to tweeting about her! Four times, no less! After stating that he’s ‘fallen in love’ with Lissie, he calls her drummer & guitar player ‘perfection’ and then proclaims that she’s ‘head and shoulders above anything I’ve heard in a long time’.
Hearing such effusive praise for little ol’ Lissie from the terminally twisted Lynch feels about as surreal as life can get (this is the guy that created Twin Peaks and directed Blue Velvet, after all). Of course, it should be noted that Lynch’s Twitter account isn’t ‘verified’, so maybe that’s not David Lynch. Oh, but it’s much more fun to assume it is, isn’t it?
