BIYL: What’s Been Happening
First of all, many thanks on my behalf to everyone who has supported our gigs over the last couple of months. I have been really slack on posting up about the nights; a combination of preparing for them and the added pressure of a radio show once a fortnight. Yes, you did hear right, we now have a 2hr show on an FM station in Norwich – I shall link you to it at the end of the post. The best way to catch up is to post a few pics and say a few words on the artists involved.

Jack Evison, a talented local singer/songwriter who is destined for big things over the coming years. I have decided that Jack will be our featured artist as we follow his path through the excellent access to music college in Norwich. So watch this space.
London fuzz masters Trim The Barber went all acoustic as a special treat for us before returning to play an amazing electric show on our launch night at a rammed Karma kafe in Norwich.
Antonio Lulic made the journey up for the October acoustic and completely won over our hearts and minds with his beautifully crafted songs of love and life. He is a guy who will surely go far in the industry. Antonio will be returning to the city to play our night at Karma Kafe on the 27th January, so pencil it in your diaries.
Our headliner that night was the wonderful Kal Lavelle, who’s track ‘Downstairs’ is one of my favourites of the year. I think it’s great for us to provide a mix of artists from home and away, and the professional level of both Kal and Antonio on how to interact with a crowd and generally work the room should be of great inspiration. I am indebted to everyone who played that night but they took our nights to a different level!
